The Badminton Lakeside 2022

Terms and Conditions

 

All table reservations with TLA Worldwide are made upon and subject to the following Terms and Conditions and no variations thereof will be accepted unless otherwise agreed in advance and in writing.

 

1.     Interpretations

In these terms and conditions ‘TLA’ means TLA Worldwide and the ‘Client’ means the individual person or company booking.

 

2.     Badminton Horse Trials Entry 

Car passes and individual entry is not included in the cost of Lakeside Garden bookings and must be purchased separately through the Badminton Horse Trials Website: www.badminton-horse.co.uk The Box Office will open on Wednesday 12th January 2022.

 

3.     Guest numbers

Unless otherwise agreed in advance and in writing by TLA, guest numbers per table are limited to the maximum numbers detailed for each table on the Badminton Lakeside website. Due to limited space within each area, items such as prams and garden chairs are not permitted in the immediate vicinity of the Client’s table. Strictly no private structures, portable tables or chairs are permitted within the Lakeside Garden tables area.

 

4.     Payment & Confirmation

The booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received and confirmation of the reservation is sent by TLA.

 

5.     Cancellation

 Should the event be cancelled, prior to your reservation being fulfilled, the full amount paid by the Client will be refunded by TLA. In addition, should the Client choose to cancel, a cancellation charge will be imposed and payable on demand in the event of a cancellation of all or any part of the Event after acceptance. The amounts are due as liquidated damages and not as a penalty and will be calculated in accordance with the following schedule:

 

Notice of cancellation received more than 90 days before the event – full refund.

Notice of cancellation received within 90 days of the event – 50% refund.

Notice of cancellation received within 30 days of the event – no refund due.

 

6.     Adverse weather

The Client agrees that TLA does not accept any responsibility for any disruption caused to the event by adverse weather conditions. Please note there is no shelter if we are to experience inclement weather so please dress appropriately.

 

7.     View

Tables are priced according to the view they have, and we will do our utmost to ensure guests have the best possible view and ask that you are mindful of those around you. Please note that Photographers and field of play officials will be in close proximity to the enclosure.

 

8.     Personal possessions

TLA accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any personal items of the Client and their guests including but not restricted to mobile phones, handbags, personal shopping and items of clothing, within the Lakeside Garden and / or Nyetimber Garden. No personal items should be left unattended at any time.

 

9.   Timings

Your table will be available from 9am until 5pm. Please not that we will no longer be restricting admission to the Lakeside Garden nor carrying out table service after this time.

 

10.   Admission to Lakeside Garden

TLA reserves the right to refuse entry and eject individuals from all areas operated by TLA and it’s contractors within the Lakeside Garden. Admission may be refused by OCL and its contractors for any reason but is not limited to the prevention of misuse of illegal substances, the prevention and detection of illegal weapons, the health and safety of the general public, the health and safety of members of staff and licensing restrictions.

12.   Advertised Hospitality Prices

Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the services are provided as advertised, TLA reserve the right to change the Hospitality Package (including but not limited to, timings and prices), and arrangements, as long as in the opinion of TLA, it does not materially change the substance of the Hospitality Package. Entry to the event is not part of the advertised Hospitality Package.


12.   Change of Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice, at the discretion of TLA.



13. Photography and Video

Ticket holders attending the Event acknowledge that their name, image and likeness is likely to be photographed or recorded in a number of media not limited to video, audio and still recording (“Images”) and agrees that perpetual use may be made, free of charge of Images and waives on an irrevocable basis all rights to object to such recording, printing and broadcasting of Images in any media and grants a royalty free licence to The Badminton Lakeside to use the ticket holder’s image and likeness in relation to any marketing and advertising materials, or other media or in any form of reproduction associated in whole or part of the Badminton Lakeside event.



14. Data and Privacy Policy

The ticket holder (individual) consents to the collection, storage and processing of their personal information and such information will be used for the administration of event, and the promotion of the event and until such time as the individual otherwise notifies the sellers.
